about Jennifer

“Sharing my stories, my voice, in this way, I hope to help others find their voice and their stories.”

Jennifer’s love of sharing, listening and storytelling started early.

Surrounded by family and friends, listening, telling, and sharing stories from a young age, has informed her sense of curiosity and creativity.

Having navigated a successful career, spanning over three decades in the allied health industry, Jennifer saw firsthand the power of authentic, honest communication and the compelling difference it can make.

This, combined with her passion for people and lifelong learning, has motivated Jennifer to assist others in finding their voice through effective, meaningful, and authentic communication.

Life has been both her education and her experience, leading her on the journey to Things That Matter.

About Things That Matter

Through Things That Matter, Jennifer has created a suite of personal stories, creative writing prompts, workshops and courses to explore identity and belonging, at a time where many feel isolated, disengaged and looking for hope.

The series examines the emotional building blocks of our lives, love, respect, dignity, grief and gratitude from a very personal perspective. She believes understanding oneself is the launching pad to understanding others.
